COVID-19 Advice from Augusta Golf Cars
To all Clients, Contractors and Suppliers,

Your safety is our concern.

In response to the global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), Augusta Golf Cars has put in place a range of proactive measures to help reduce the spread of the virus and to provide business continuity to our customers.

We wish to advise that our standard service offering remains in place at this time. As a company we are exploring all manner of possibilities on working differently in order to maintain this status should things change.

Please take the time to review some of the measures we are implementing in order to keep our Staff, Clients and Suppliers safe.

  • Our Staff have been notified to stay at home and seek the necessary medical advice from their GP if they are feeling unwell.
  • We are re-enforcing key messages around personal hygiene, social distancing and travel.
  • We are limiting any unnecessary company travel. All business related international travel has been suspended.
  • All vehicles delivered to clients will be sanitised by our staff prior to delivery.
  • Staff will be using disposable (hard wearing) gloves at all times for each job whether that be production, repair or servicing. In addition to this, staff will be washing their hands regularly and avoiding touching their face/head as much as possible.
  • We have disinfectant products at the entrances of all of our buildings and have encouraged staff and clients to use these products as necessary.
Over and above this we are requesting that clients having vehicles serviced or repaired by our Mobile service technicians:
  • Reduce the amount of contact with our staff. If a vehicle can be collected and worked on in our warehouse we request that this be done.
  • Leave vehicles in a loading space with no contact for 12 hours prior to our staff arriving.
  • Adequately disinfecting the vehicle prior to our arrival.

We have also encouraged social distancing and request that where possible we limited unnecessary in person meetings, and rather engage in online or telephonic meetings.

If an "in person meeting" is required we request that only absolutely essential personnel be involved, limiting the number of people we come into contact with.

It is also worth noting that the virus has impacted global supply chains and it is likely we will experience some disruption; we will look to minimise this as best as possible and communicate any potential disruptions effectively should they occur however if you have questions, queries or feedback, we welcome you to get in contact with us.

We would like to thank you for your patience in this evolving and unprecedented situation.
Kind Regards,

Raymond Georgiou
CEO, Augusta Golf Cars
