Augusta Golf Cars exclusive master distributor for E-Z-GO, Cushman and Textron Offroad Vehicles have continued to bring the future of the golf vehicle industry to Australia with Textron Fleet Management systems.

Textron Fleet Management (TFM), which was formerly known as TKVGPS, was acquired by Textron in January 2017 and is now available in Australia.  TFM has provided GPS based fleet management solutions exclusively for E-Z-GO products in the US and Europe for the past three years and have to date equipped many courses with their product including: Heritage Oaks Golf and Country Club, Bears Best, Verrado Golf Club and Feather Sound CC among others.

TFM's fleet management solutions provide golf-course owners and operators with extensive, real-time information to help them monitor, maintain and protect their fleets of golf cars and utility vehicles whilst at the same time providing players with a very enjoyable experience by providing distances to pins, greens, bunkers, fly over videos, food and beverage ordering etc

Among the extensive list of course management features available to golf course operators are remote amp-hour and odometer monitoring, state-of-charge reports and charging histories for electric vehicles; vehicle travel histories, fleet utilization and rotation reports, pace-of-play monitoring, remote diagnostics, speed enforcement and geofencing capabilities with remote vehicle shutdown that allow courses to keep vehicles within specified boundaries for safety and security.

In addition to the features, golf course operators have the ability to run multimedia advertisements which have the potential to generate incremental income. Golfer enhanced units are equipped for food and beverage ordering and also have the option to integrate golf tournament software.

TFM is a factory backed product which should give potential buyers comfort that the system will around in the long-term with ongoing support and updates in the foreseeable future. The system can be ordered with an order for EZGO golf cars which means the TFM systems are then installed and integrated into the vehicles a factory level down the production line. TFM systems can also be retrofitted to existing fleets.

TFM screens are available in three configurations a 7 inch text only display, a 7 inch golfer enhanced display and a 10 inch golfer enhanced display thus providing courses with options best suited to their specific needs or budget. The weatherproof displays are manufactured by TFM and are the brightest on the market.

Kevin Holleran, president and CEO of Textron Specialized Vehicles said "Courses can select from a range of proven fleet-management solutions to meet the specific needs of their particular facility, protect their investments in vehicle fleets and turf-care equipment, monitor events on their course, and enhance the playing experience for their golfers."

TFM systems are available in 48 or 60 month packages and are backed with a 48 month warranty and unlimited customer support (both online and phone).

The TFM systems, coupled with the incredible new battery technology advancements in ELiTE Lithium and LC Tec vehicles put Augusta Golf Cars in a position to offer facilities a multitude of solutions to ensure their assets are getting them the best bang for their buck.
