Putting the fun back in Golf: Wagga City Golf Club
Written on the 4 October 2013 by Augusta Golf Cars
From the first time that you browse Wagga City Golf Club on the net www.waggagolf.com.au it is clear, that the aim of this club is to ensure their clients have fun.
Wagga City Golf Club, which is open to the public 7 days a week, has watered kiekie fairways and Bent greens making it an enjoyable yet challenging course. The course has a well-stocked Proshop and is well respected by those that play there.
Strangely enough for a city course it has over 100 resident Kangaroos.
The signature hole at WCGC is the 175m slightly downhill 9th, which is a very well planned and gratifying hole.
Wagga City Golf Club has recently taken delivery of a fleet of 12 E-Z-GO RXV Vehicles, but in true fun fashion, the club opted to have their fleet divided into four different colours.
Scott Lennox the course representative said that the course chose Burnt orange, White, Fire Engine Red and Metallic Blue for their fleet.
Mr Lennox said "The different colours were chosen to help the golfers feel that golf is a lot more fun."
" It's interesting to see regular golfers who always walk come and ask for a coloured cart."
"The golf course certainly feels more alive with the new carts and colour scheme."
Mr Lennox went on to say that he was most impressed by the Charge time of the vehicles and the excellent service he gets from Peter Tilden and the team at the Augusta Golf Cars Sydney Branch.
If you are interested in a fun day on a welcoming Golf Course, then now is a great time to book a round at Wagga City Golf Club.
The Club is offering a $20 Green fee for unlimited golf for the day.
