DUBBO'S Taronga Western Plains Zoo has welcomed some rare new creatures but they are not your usual four-legged furry kind. While they sport stripes like a Zebra, this particular species also boasts wheels and can carry up to six people with ease. Click HERE for the BIG Picture....
The regional NSW-based zoo has just welcomed a new fleet of six-seater electric E-Z-GO golf cart vehicles to its growing family. Used as safari vehicles to transport zoo-goers around the 3sq km of wild bushland and animal habitat, the new Zebra-striped E-Z-GO vehicles, courtesy of Augusta Golf Cars, have increased the zoo's cart fleet from 12 to 16, allowing more visitors to have a safari-like experience around the facility.
The carts are a colourful, fun addition to the zoo and are already proving popular with visitors with their added comfort and driveability around the zoo.
"The cars look fantastic and are greatly improved over their previous vehicles," said a Taronga spokesperson. Augusta Golf Cars' appeal continues to grow, on and off the course.
