E-Z-GO is Exceeding Expectations again

Written on the 2 November 2017

In yet another endeavour to revolutionize the Golf Car market, Augusta Golf Cars is proud to announce E-Z-GO's all new Exceed Hybrid technology.

The fully integrated supplemental power source will allow the E-Z-GO vehicle to achieve a greater distance between charges.

The innovative technology will be available for the E-Z-GO Freedom RXV (2 and 4 seater) as well as the all new E-Z-GO 2five, in September 2011.

The system uses a small gas powered generator as a supplement to the vehicles 48- volt electric powertrain and will allow for the vehicle to achieve a travel distance of up to 160 kilometres on a single charge.

When engaged the generator recharges the vehicles batteries on the go, greatly extending the range of the vehicle, whilst maintaining low carbon emissions.

The Exceed system also features a 400-watt power source to allow for the charging and use of small electronic devices such as radios, mobile phones, and laptop computers.

Exceed Hybrid Technology seamlessly integrates with the vehicle for simple operation and a sharp fit and finish. All system controls, including a choke button and starter switch, are mounted in the vehicle's dash within easy reach.

The Exceed system is mounted into the vehicle's rear bagwell and is fitted with a specially designed cover to protect the system and provide a clean, integrated look.

Exceed-equipped vehicles can be outfitted with the RXV's two-bag attachment to use the vehicle on the golf course.

An aftermarket Exceed Hybrid Technology kit will be made available for the RXV and 2five models later this year through Augusta Golf Cars.

Exceed Hybrid Technology will also be made available in other E-Z-GO electric models, including TXT-based vehicles, in 2012.
