Augusta Golf Cars Celebrates 10 Years

Written on the 13 June 2014 by Augusta Golf Cars

This month Augusta Golf Cars celebrate their   tenth year since opening its doors but looking at the companies achievements it is difficult to believe that AGC is actually this young.

Augusta Golf Cars opened its doors in July 2004 and over the years has proven to be one of the most influential companies to have helped shape the golf and leisure vehicle market in Australia.

From humble beginnings in Browns Plains with a Staff of three, to a company with an enviable dealer network stretching across Australia and the Pacific Islands, 26 full time staff members and 3 warehouses covering thousands of square meters, Augusta Golf Cars have made their mark.

Augusta Golf Cars has not only helped take the E-Z-GO, Cushman and Bad Boy Buggies brands to new heights in Australia and the Pacific Islands, but has redefined what it means to be a Golf Vehicle Dealer.

Raymond Georgiou, Managing Director of Augusta Golf Cars said that he is proud of the progress that the company has made over the past decade.

Mr Georgiou said "Augusta Golf Cars is a great company that has shown a continuous evolution,"

"We have enjoyed growing the E-Z-GO market share in Australia and will continue to grow it in avenues that extend further than golf courses."

"Augusta Golf Cars and its dealers have seen great success in the Mining, hospitality, farming and hunting sectors, not to mention the massive growth in parts and accessories that is why we have invested in these avenues"

" is proving to be a great resource for our clients, and we expect that the launch of our second online shopping website Pro-fit will benefit our clients even further."

Like many companies success is not measured in growth alone. Augusta Golf Cars have been involved in various activities to give back to the community.

The PGA Legends tour has been sponsored by Augusta Golf Cars for the past seven years and proven to be a great way to give back to those in the golfing industry.

AGC has also been involved with the Adam Scott foundation which aims to provide life opportunities to young Australians.

AGC has been involved with the Gold Coast Academy of Sport and The Southport School Sony Foundation holiday camp.

Nico Schutte, Director of Augusta Golf Cars said that involvement in such activities is very gratifying.

Mr Schutte said "We have been a part of many programs and initiatives, and it is nice to be able to give back to the community."

"Some of the milestones for this company include our involvement with the TSS Sony Foundation, our involvement with the PGA Legends tour and our involvement with the Adam Scott foundation."
